Guitar Lessons for Beginners | Motivation Matters

Anyone who wants to learn to play guitar or who has tried to learn to play guitar in the past finds out that eventually you get into a rut. Whether it's a playing style issue or feeling bored with your gear, or your band-mates are getting on your nerves. You won't be able to teach yourself guitar enough 'soul candy' motivation to keep you going. Integrate motivational tools directly into your learning program by picking songs to learn and integrating the "fun" stuff into technique/practice time.

One would think making such a simple adjustment into practice time would be plain common sense but what ultimately happens is students either don't practice technique or don't know how long to practice or simply just dread thinking about practicing. Make sure you have a doable lesson plan that outlines how much time to practice at each stage of your learning process so you continue to progress yet don't become bored or overwhelmed with practice time with no time left to enjoy the guitar you've been learning to play in the first place!

Here's more thoughts on why these lessons make sense for the guitarist wanting to learn just a little or the guitarist who really wants to explore just how far he or she can go. Picking up lessons from a comprehensive lesson set which ranges from intro through complete mastery of technique and theory makes sense... If you want to learn more... you can learn from the same methodology and not have to re-learn new technique.

This guitar tablature software on PC that responds to voice commands is simply awesome, I have to mention it. Either of these lenses get into it and I think one has a demonstration video. You have to see it to believe it.
