It's hardly surprising considering the popularity of the kindle at the moment. But where to get a constant supply of FREE books to keep you busy during the holidays?
Well it's not as hard as you may think and you may even have a lot of them lying around on your computer at this very moment.
The good news is that there are 1000s of books available from the Amazon Kindle store that are completely free. These include a wide selection of Classics.
FREE Kindle Books already on your computer
Go to explorer or your SEARCH bar and look through all your directories for a .pdf files.
Your computer will return a list of any it finds. Just open them up quickly on your computer to see if its worth transferring first.
FREE Kindle Books from PROJECT GUTENBERG
A word of warning though. Some unscrupulous people have been taking eBooks from Project Gutenberg, changing the format slightly, and then putting them up for sale on the Amazon Kindle Store. So you are advised to check Project Gutenberg first to see if a book is available for free before buying it at the Amazon store.
