Free Lemon-Lime Coaster Crochet Pattern
Materials:Small amounts of worsted weight yarn in your choice of 2 colors
Size H crochet hook
Size: 3 1/2" in diameter
Rnd 1: With color A, make ring (or ch 4, sl st in 1st ch to form ring. I prefer the "magic ring" method), ch 3, 11 dc in ring, join w sl st to top of ch 3 (12 dc).
Rnd 2: ch 3, dc in same dc, 2 dc in each dc around, join as before, fasten off (24 dc).
Rnd 3: Join color B w sl st to 1st st of Rnd 2,ch 3, 2 dc in next dc, * dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, rep from * around, join as before, fasten off (36 dc).
Weave in ends. Enjoy!

- Just make a loop with your yarn, insert hook into the loop, pull yarn through the loop, pull to tighten a bit, but keep somewhat loose, work your chain sts, and then work the first round into this loop. Pull to tighten. It leaves less of a hole in the center than making a chain and joining to first ch. Hope this helps. If not, I think there is a tutorial on Crochet Pattern Central.
