Free Logo Maker

Ranked #390 in Squidoo Community, #56,085 overall

Look at the COOL Logo that I made for FREE!

I have discovered some free logo makers which can be used to make a logo for your website or lens. They can also be used to create images, designs or artwork. I have also found some free tools to resize the images. Finally there is a free online tool for creating attractive borders such as you see in this module. All is revealed in the lens below.

One Example of A Free Logo I Made

This is a JPG version of a logo that I made with the free logo maker. Now this Free Logo maker offers images in JPG, PNG and EPS. For Squidoo, JPG is better. For a website PNG is better. With this logo maker, you get both. For FREE! How cool is that?

Free Logo Maker Website

This is the Free Logo Maker I used to create the logos on this site. They do ask for a donation, but it is not required. The free logo maker also provides those little clip art images you see in my logo examples. The logos are delivered as JPG, PNG and EPS files. This is very handy. Not a bad result for a free website. I recommend them and will use them again.

I would like to learn how to do it myself.

I have done a few of my own logos before.. and without any special software.. but I'm definitely going to try these out now!

Footed Pajamas Logo

I used the free logo maker to make this logo for the Footed Pajamas Website. The only difference is on the website, the logo I am using has pink feet and blue buttons. For that I used Photoshop.

PNG Resizing Tool

How do you resize a PNG image?

One of the biggest problems with PNG images is if you want to resize them for your website. I tried to do it with Photoshop and had difficulties. But I did find an online FREE PNG Image Resizer and gives a clear, non-pixilated result. HINT: Click on "Smoothly interpolation:". This removes pixilation, but it makes your image file a bit larger.

PNG vs JPG vs EPS

Is PNG or JPG Better?

For a website a PNG image will be crisper and cleaner than a JPG file. A PNG file will also allow the background color from the website to come through. Imagine that your website has a beige color and you put a JPG image with a white background. That will look odd. If you put a PNG image on your beige website, the beige background will come through. Also PNG images tend not to get pixilated so easily. I am not yet sure of the advantages of an EPS file, but I will figure it out one day.

Free Text Logo Maker

Text logos

If you are interested in text only logos, try this free logo maker which was used to create the logo on the belly band website.

It is easy to use and give very high quality graphics. The only disadvantage compared to the other free logo maker is that there is no clip art images included.

Do you like the box around the text?

Do you like the box around this text? Think it is difficult do? It is not. I use an automatic Free Text Box Creator to make this. It could not be easier.
