The best way to make money online, perhaps the only way that has proven to be effective and free is affiliate marketing. For those who don't know I'll break it down. Affiliate marketing is simply advertising a product for someone else and getting paid for it. You can find easy products to advertise at: clickbank

Clickbank is a wesbite that you sign up an account to and then you have access to thousands of products you can affiliate with. If you choose to affiliate with a product/service you get your own personalized link that when clicked on (and bought) transfers money directly to your account.

So you find something to advertise and get a your own personal link from clickbank. Now what? Well I'll break it down into steps.

» STEP 1 » Think of a creative and catchy word/phrase to exhibit your product. Use this phrase to create a blog at blogspot, when you make a blog make sure it is informative. At the beginning and end of your blog give your affiliate link out.

» STEP 2 » Create a "Squidoo Lens". Do the same thing you did with your blog.
*Special Note: Make your Lens and Blog long, informative, meaty, and truly give people information so they learn something instead of just saying "Buy my product" over and over like a broken record.

» STEP 3 » Step three is actually to read this step; !!!ADVERTISE!!! This is the perhaps the most important step and the one often avoided when people talk about affiliate marketing. Believe it or not your blog/lens isn't going to become magically discovered by search engines by simply creating it and then watching your computer screen like an idiot with a smile on your face. People often don't believe that affiliate marketing works because they don't give it the time and energy it needs to generate loads of income.

» STEP 4 » Step 3 was a breeze eh? Now to actually advertise. First make an account on account on blogrush. Take a moment and watch the video, it explains everything and that way we'll be on the same page here. Now that you've watched it, made an account and put it on your blog. You need to visit your site a good 15+ times to make it so that other people see yours.

» Step 5 » -Advertising your "Squidoo lens". To advertise this lens you first need to link it from your blog and vice versa. To be ranked in search engines you need to be: first; a trusted site, (Squidoo and Blogspot are) and then second; it is helpful to have links to your site from others so that it shows up more. It works this way because search engines scan, or crawl over sites all the time and update their search engines.
