You design your own Christmas cards using your home computer, then print them out with your color printer in the quantity you need. This is totally free, except for the cost of papers and ink, of course.
This is for, well, people who enjoy fun activities and consider themselves a creative lot, hehe. And by just making a few more clicks on your keyboard, or moving the mouse around a little bit more, you can get free printable Christmas cards ready. That would be nice, right?

Learn to make printable Christmas cards the easy way
If you think making your own Christmas card is complicated, then follow the simple steps below for an easy start. Later you can think of ways to improve it.
The easiest way for me to get started is to use Microsoft Word or Powerpoint (most people should already have these installed in their computer) as the 'drawing board'.
Depending on the size of the Christmas cards that you want to make, and whether you want it to be single-fold or double-fold, have the margins marked appropriately and pictures or cliparts (or even a photo of you, your family, or your cute pet dog!) placed at the right place.
Select your preferred type of paper for printing.
Trim away the extra (i.e. areas outside the margins).
Fold the paper accordingly.
Write a lovely message or a sincere wish, and sign off.
That's it - you've just got yourself a free printable Christmas card!

Personalize your Christmas cards
Add borders if you like.
Type a poem as you wish.
Paste a photo of yourself.
Or simply leave a blank space to write a personal message.
Improve on your printed Christmas cards
If you know a little bit about scrapbooking, you can actually incorporate some of the techniques to make your Christmas cards look better (e.g. paste colorful buttons or ribbons onto the card). You don't have to do this for all the cards, may be just a few for your favorite relatives or friends.
If you find yourself cannot cope with this simplest method, then perhaps ready-made greeting card templates can help you do a better job. There is one printable cards collection that I found recently to be very helpful indeed. Check it out yourself!
