I designed this cap for the 7.5" Berenguer Lots to Cuddle doll.
Free Small Doll Pumpkin Cap Crochet Pattern
Materials:
Small amounts worsted weight yarn in orange and green
Size H crochet hook
Gauge: 2 rnds dc=1"
Rnd 1: With green, ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook, join w sl st in 1st sc (6 sc).
Rnd 2: (Work this round in back loops only), Ch 1, sc in each sc around, join as before (6 sc).
Rnds 3-4: Working in both loops now and throughout, ch 1, sc in each sc around, join as before, fasten off after Rnd 4 (6 sc).
Rnd 5: Join orange w sl st in 1st sc of Rnd 4, ch 3, 3 dc in same st, 4 dc in each sc around, join w sl st in top of ch 3 (24 dc).
Rnd 6: Ch 3, dc in next 4 dc, 2 dc in next dc, * dc in next 5 dc, 2 dc in next dc, rep from * around, join as before (28 dc).
Rnd 7: Ch 3, dc in each dc around, join as before (28 dc).
Rnd 8: Sl st in each dc around, join w sl st in 1st sl st, fasten off (28 sl st).
Weave in ends. Enjoy!
