What is the Solar Power?

Solar Power comes from our Sun. Sun is the center of our solar system and it is a star by its nature.
Sun is like a big oven - a big fireplace, where the temperature riches even 100 million degrees.
Thermo-nuclear process is happening in the core of our star called fusion. This process is even more powerful than fission, which is happening in our nuclear power plants.
Hydrogen in sun is changing its elementary structure and is transforming to higher elements, such as Helium. All this process is highly exothermic by its nature. Exothermic means, that a lot of additional energy in the form of radiation (heat) is the result of the process of fusion.
There is enough reserve of hydrogen in the core of our sun for more than a billion years to come.

Why Solar Power is Free?

There are truly unlimited quantities of solar energy in our sun, considering all our energy needs, not only for our current energy needs, but for generations to come.
Ever hour, to be more precisely, every 40 minutes, the Earth receives enough solar power to cover absolutely all energy needs for all world population.
Solar power is free for all. No matter, where do you live and no matter to which nationality one belongs, solar power is free for all.

How to use Free Solar Power?

We can use free power of sun in very many different ways. We can harvest the heat of the sun by heat collectors, which can be placed on the roof of the building or they are placed freely on the ground surface by specially designed frame. The other way of harvesting free heat of the sun are mirrors, which are collecting solar energy from all mirror surface and concentrate it in one central point, where that high heat boils water or any other chemical substance, which is capable of transporting large quantities of heat/energy further in the chain of processing.
We can also solar cells, solar panels, solar shingles to produce direct electricity from the solar light - radiation. This technology is also called Photovoltaic - PV, and we could have seen some amazing innovations and new development in recent years.

There are also some other ways of using solar power, but here we are not going to mention them.

What is your opinion about Free Solar Power?

What should we do to encourage the government to invest more resources in renewable energy sources, which don't destroy our environment and other living species?

That was meant to be my Solar power Homes blog. Again great lens, really gives a good perspective of solar power and where it comes from. Free solar power really is the way to go. The governemtn in my area doesn't have a scheme, but I set it up myself and it really has saved me lots on my bills.

This is a great lens. It's great that you explain how free solar power can be. Most people don't realise how much it can cut off your electricity bill, and that even if their government hasn't set up a scheme, they can still set up solar power for their homes for not to expensive. If you get the chance checkout my Solar power Homes blog.
