Free Stuffed Marshmallow Crochet Pattern

Materials:
1/2 oz. white worsted weight yarn
Size H crochet hook
Small amount fiberfill stuffing
2 small wiggle eyes, half circle beads for eyes, or a length of yarn to embroider French knot eyes
Small amount red 6-strand embroidery floss

Size: 2" tall
Gauge: 2 rnds dc=1"

Bottom
Rnd 1: Make ring (or ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring. I prefer the "magic ring" method), ch 3, 11 dc in ring, join w sl st in top of ch 3, pull ring closed (12 dc).
Rnd 2: Working in back loops only, ch 3, dc in next dc and in each dc around, join as before (12 dc).
Rnds 3-4: Working in both loops, ch 3, dc in next dc and in each dc around, join as before, fasten off after Rnd 4 (12 dc).
Weave in ends. Stuff marshmallow w fiberfill.

Top
Rep Rnd 1 of Bottom, fasten off, weave in ends (12 dc).
Working through back loops only of Bottom and Rnd 4, whipstich top to bottom, adding more stuffing if needed before closing completely. Weave in ends.

Glue on eyes, or embroider French knots for children 3 and under. Using 6-strand embroidery floss, embroider mouth as shown in photo.
