Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in same dc, 2 dc in next dc and in each dc around, join as before, fasten off (24 dc).
Rnd 3: Join green w sl st in 1st dc, ch 3, 2 dc in next dc, *dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, rep from * around, join as before, fasten off (36 dc).
Seeds
With black yarn, embroider seeds as shown in photo. To make one seed, push yarn needle up from bottom in spot where you wish the bottom of the seed to be, make a loop on top w yarn, insert needle into same spot and push needle through coaster (keeping loop on top). Bring needle back up through the loop and push it back down over the top of the loop (tacking the top of the loop down with a tiny stitch). Pull gently to tighten. Repeat for all seeds.
Enjoy!
