    Thanks for the Lobster info! Not a big fan of spiny lobsters; give me a juicy Maine lobster any day.

    I've never tried Spiny Lobsters but I love Maine Lobsters. Lensrolled to lobsters.

    I get CA spiny lobsters from my neighbor (Have to ply him with my summer veggies )
    Steaming them is a waste!

    After the basic cleaning, I throw them in a pot of rolling water for about 5 Min. then trim the tail belly plates with shears, and insert a metal skewer. Throw them on a Med. mesquite grill & baste with butter, white wine, garlic & herbs (shell down) until the meat starts to pull away from the shell slightly (basting every few minutes top down)

    Little saffron rice, good steak, maybe some salad and you've got yourself a food coma.
    Season just opened, I'm ready!
