Why Did You Join Squidoo?

    I actually joined through cafepress to promote my cafepress store...but find I rarely do that here...lol

    How I found it: It took me a near year to get back to it, but I got the bug from fellow squid Jefferson aka Jeff Askow when we struck a conversation on Startupnation.com

    Why I joined? I got carried away in the wave of creativity. I couldn't resist trying my wings in such clever company.

    I have been blogging for over two years and started with Squidoo really as a money making test - to see if it was also possible to make money with lenses.

    Since joining I've come to realise there is a lot more to Squidoo than I first thought.

    I joined because I read "Meatball Sundae" and the whole concept fascinated me.

    I had always found Squidoo intriqueing and have found a lot of useful things on here.
    I mainly wanted to show others about my art and enjoyed creating my Gothic WIP lens which has been quite popular, something I hope to do a lot more of.
    For me Squidoo is another outlet to showcase what I do and am very passionate about.

    I didn't know anything about Squidoo, but I had 2 Cafepress shops...CP gave all of their shopkeepers a link to Squidoo as a tool for free and easy promotion, so I gave it a shot. What I discovered was a great promotional tool, but also a fantastic platform for creative self-expression with all kinds of fun ways to combine words, art, using fun widgets and interactive tools!!

    I joined because I was looking for a few things: a way to promote mine and my mom's business, a creative outlet for myself, and somewhere to "meet" new people. I found them all at Squidoo.

    I joined to learn ANYTHING I could about webpages because I was absolutely new to the entire experience. I thought that creating anything for the Web would be beyond my abilities but Squidoo makes the experience incredibly easy. I've been away working many other projects but plan to return soon and make a prolonged Squidoo lens building commitment.
