I often hear about Squidoo getting mentioned everywhere on the internet. I got curious. Then I discovered that it is a very good place to learn, interact and be heard. Thank you for featuring my lens and congrats to all my fellow graduates. I sure hope to hear more from you!

I was looking for a place on the internet to write about my new book and came across Squidoo. Now I am having so much fun and admit to being on Squidoo every day!
I like the fact that it is free because my husband and I are currently staying in a small village in Spain - there is no work here - so free is good!

Ohme, Nancy Hellams, and I both grew up in Pendleton, South Carolina. When I saw her Pendleton Lens on Facebook, I went in to read it and then commented on it. After that, I e-mailed Nancy to see if she would like to read my memories of Pendleton, sending it to her. She then ask if she could use it for a lens, lensrolling it into hers. Once that took off, I got the bug and created Life In My Grandmother's Time. I was hooked

Flaming Lacer recommended Squidoo to my mum as a good way to set up a web page quickly, meet people, and maybe raise a little extra money too. And she was right! We were looking for ways to raise money for our friend Lydia who needs breast cancer treatment in Uganda and Squidoo has really helped us raise awareness and get information out there quickly.
