How Did You Found Out About Squidoo?

    I was googling for Jane Austen fanfiction that I couldn't find anywhere, and I found Squidoo. I still didn't find what I was looking for though, so I decided to make my own lens that would help others finding stuff. It was my first lens. I have 11 now! :D

    I e was tooling around the link referral forum when I first heard about Squidoo. And, THANK GOD that I did! Yep, a guy was going on and on about how you could get listed on the 1st page of Google - and, he's right. My lens, Detroit Caterers ... , is in the #1 position (it's Valentine's Day 2009). I "get it" now - and there will be absolutely no looking back. I'm so very grateful!

    I noticed that links from Squidoo.com were appearing on the first page of Google results frequently. I didn't know what a Squidoo lens was, and decided to take a quick peek. The "Build Your Lens" button captured me immediately and I haven't been seen in the real World often since that day...

    I found Squidoo while searching on Entrepreneur, I was looking for places to promote my website, I enjoy Squidoo, and have created 3 lens and soon to be on #4. I think I have a good lens for selling my products. Although it is coming along slowly I post my Squidoo Lens everywhere I can.

    If not mistaken, it was from Wealthy Affiliated that I got to know about Squidoo. Since then I uses Squidoo to promote some of my blogs and affiliate product

    I found about Squidoo through one of my friend. I remember the day when he send me his referral link for me to join squidoo. It was October 2008. Then I decided to choose recent inventions as my subject and started collecting amazing information about latest inventions. Putting it on my lens, connecting to other great lensmasters that's all what I did. Now when I am getting more than 200 visitors per day and also earned my first online income through it, I simply love Squidoo. Recently I have started a new lens about online paid surveys that is doing very good just after 15 days of its creation. I really appreciate suggestions from other lensmasters so that I can improve it just like my first lens.

    I found Squidoo while I was on zazzle, I was reading a post to promote my zazzle products, someone had mentioned Squidoo! I came and had a look and thought I am no writer, I could never do this, but I looked around and thought nobody knows me, I WILL GIVE IT A TRY! It has been
    liberating for me, I had recently lost a pet of 12 years, and thought I would do a private tribute to Angel, I wrote, I cried, I wrote I cried, when I WAS DONE I got the nerve to click publish, I HAVE TO SAY, I had so many caring people comment, I feel very fortunate to be a part of such a caring community.

    I found out about Squidoo through a community of internet marketers called "Wealthy Affiliates." It 's a great place for internet marketers of all skill levels to meet share knowledge, tips, opinions and above all support!

    I discovered Squidoo while searching for material for my website. I started a site a year ago to provide a directory of free interactive educational resources to K-12 teachers, parents and students. I found some excellent lenses to add to my directory. And Squidoo seemed like the perfect place for me to write more extensively about the best websites I've found and used, so I started my "K-12 Top 12" lenses.

    I was first introduced to squidoo through Social Networking Training Sites and found it to be the best knowledge online at the time.

    Well my friend told me about Seth's Blog and from that I was invited to join Tribes which I did and didn't use enough so I'm not a part of that anymore but I loved the book. Thank you Seth. and while I was on tribes I found out about squidoo which is more my type of thing.

    I first learned of Squidoo from a mentor. He talked about creating squidoo lenses and how to get internet exposure. I love to write and I wanted to find a way to inform those who will follow me into retirement some of the pitfalls they may encounter as they leave the work world. Squidoo has been a great tool to inform others of what I have already experienced and hopefully the information will help someone else.

    I joined Wealthy Affiliate University to try and learn about internet marketing. One of the recommendations over at WA was to make a squidoo lens which is what brought me here. I really enjoyed making my first lens, I'm proud of it though I now realise I made a lot of mistakes. My second lens is in progress and I have the ideas for my 3rd - I will keep on rockin! Thanks for inviting me to fresh squid.

    I had been looking at Squidoo for about a year now without joining, because being new to the site and not a member of the site, it looked like it would be really hard. I don't know html or any kind of programing, (just kind of stumbling along :) But I finally jumped in, became a member and created my first lens and I am so hooked. It is sooo easy. I love Squidoo!!!

    I was trying to learn more about making money blogging. I found Squidoo was browsing the Internet. At first, I was not sure how to use it, but I joined SquidU and began paying attention to the featured lenses. Squidoo is so much fun :)

    I was interested in learning about internet marketing and kept hearing about something called "Squidoo" so visited the site to learn more about it and then took the plunge and created my first lens!

    This is exciting! im a fresh graduate (again). I heard squidoo from a friend. They say its cool, you get nice traffic. At first, i really dont know what squidoo is all about or how to make my own lens. But once you get hang of it, its not that hard.

    Thank you for making me a grad! I discovered Squidoo in a self-help book on writing. Can't recall the author's name, but he said, if you want to write, then make a Squidoo lens and say something! I did and have now completed my 2nd lens and I'm having a blast.

    I was a shaman in the virtual world of Second Life and I met someone who was having lots of success by creating squidoo lenses. She was even making Real Life money so I explored her creations and started making some of my own.

    I had noticed that a lot of my fellow Zazzle contributors also had Squidoo lenses and I really liked the way they looked, but I thought it was just something else for me to learn, so I waited. Finally I jumped in and made a lens!

    I noticed that someone had used one of my pictures on Flickr. I followed the link from Flickr and found myself on a lens. After I had looked around Squidoo, I decided that I woulod like to make my own lens too. After that, I was hooked.

    I heard about Squidoo back when it first started. I thought, sort of off-handedly, "That's kind of cool, but I don't have anything to say." Then, I rediscovered Squidoo back in October and I realized that I DID have something to say, after all:)

    Wow, I'm so blessed to be a chosen grad in October! Thank you so much for all your votes.

    I first learned of Squidoo in a book by Rena Klingenberg: "Social Networking: Sell Your Jewelry Online the New Way". I had purchased that with my jewelry work in mind, only to be first inspired to use Squidoo for our work with orphaned children in Malawi, Africa. It was the only way we could afford a web site.
