Fresh Squids, LoTD Quality!

Woman behind Lens of the Day blog concept is Megan Casey, a founding member and the Editor in Chief of Squidoo.

Explanation of Lens of the Day by Megan:
"Lens of the Day (LotD) is a blog, a newsletter, and a bit of a phenomenon. The latter is not because of me. It's because of the Squidoo community.

Here's what I've said on the blog: "Every weekday (or nearly that) Squidoo's Editor in Chief, Megan Casey, highlights a single page (called a "lens") that stands out from the crowd, a lens that is unique in topic, approach, personality, tools or timing. Or, you know, just a lens that made her guffaw a little."

Well, because! ;) Back to being serious --> all lenses that are feature here are lenses that were featured on LoTD blog and were made by lensmasters who were at the time of featuring Fresh Squids!!!

Newbies, newcomers, Fresh Squids... what ever you want to call them - made lenses that stand out soooo much to become featured on LoTD blog!

CCGAL joined Squidoo on September 13th 2008 and her lens (featured bellow) was featured on LoTD blog only 15 days later!!!

And this is why she ended up there (in Megan's words):
"what I love about today's Lens of the Day, "Heritage Heirloom Cutting Boards" (other than delighting in the truly gorgeous woodwork) is that CCGal and her husband aren't just trying to sell their work... they're telling stories about it. Oh, and this part too: She's only been a lensmaster for 2 weeks, and look how far she's come already!

CCGAL was also fist winner of Fresh Squid Contest as Fresh Squid featured on groups' page during September 2008!

Ges came aboard Squidoo on September 15th 2008 and got featured on LoTD blog 20 days after that.

What's unique about this lensmaster is that he made only one lens!!! Single lens since he joined Squidoo! And what an outstanding lens is this!!!

Squidaddle joined Squidoo on October 5th 2008. His lens was featured on LoTD blog on October 30 2008 - only 25 days after he joined us!

What makes this lens great? Well, as Megan says:
"LoTD brings you something almost as creepy as Halloween! Lensmaster Squidaddle shares his firsthand experience wearing hundreds of bees on his neck. Yes, really. *Shudder*.

After only 19 days after signing up with Squidoo, Mystic Turtle aka Nancy Shepherd got her name on LoTD blog on March, 13th 2009.

Message she sends with her lens:

We all like to eat but not all of us like to cook! So, this could be handy to all of us: ReluctantGourmet made a lens that was featured as LoTD and can assist parents teach their kids how to cook, have fun and transform cooking into quality time with children!
