    This is a cheering, inspirational lens, thanks! I've been going around this morning following links out of my "lens of the day" guestbook and saying thanks to people. And the biggest thanks to you, for encouraging me. I'm impatient for the end of September!

    wow, I am new! I knew what Lens of the day was, but I took a look at this lens because I didn't know what LoTD was...=O YIKES.

    I joined in March 2008 but didn't make my first lens until July 2008. My second lens, Twilight Dream Team, was made Lens of the Day just 3 months later, in October 2008! So YES you can!

    Thanks for this. I will lensroll it along with five and fave so I can go back and check all the LOTD lenses listed here. I will never qualify for LOTD and don't aspire to that, but always want to do the best I can because each lens I create has my name on it. One of my favorite pastimes is checking out the latest LOTD. Good job!!

    It doesn't matter how long the lensmaster has been a lensmaster. It they built a quality lens, they should be nominated.

    Everywhere I go, every link I click leads me to someone who has gone above and beyond to create a lens helping us baby squids to become better, bigger squids. What a remarkable thing! And this lens, and the fresh squid contest, etc. are just more of that terrific effort. Thank you.

    A newbie can indeed! My Ancient Greece Odyssey lens made LOTD on May 17, 2007, 13 days after I joined Squidoo. :) Of course, there were fewer Squids back then!

    Although my LOTD never made it to the LOTD blog, I had only been a LM for a few weeks when http://www.squidoo.com/fish_chips made LOTD. It was there for almost a week which I founf embarrassing, but it was a great feeling to have such a privalidge awarded to the 3rd lens I'd created. Great idea for a lens ;)

    My lens on Geocaching made lens of the day while I was still very new to Squidoo! They can be chosen from anyone I believe!

    I also had a LOTD as a fairly fresh squid, about 3 months old and nowhere near making Giant: Twilight Dream Team.

    Being a graduate and an award winning lensmaster of the Fresh Squid Group is just the beginning for me. Someday I'll reach the LoTD AND Giant status.
