    I am "mentoring" two pretty fresh squids, but they got too far in making lenses to join your group before I found you.

    Sometimes I begin to feel like a stale squid and it is always refreshing to come look in here and be able to renew and be a fresh squid again. Thanks for that. Good luck to all Squids: Fresh and Stale.

    Congratulations to all the April winners in the Fresh Squid contest. Since being a 'winner' in an earlier contest when I was a Fresh Squid, I know what a boost to your self-esteem this is and how nice it is to get recognized when you are just beginning on Squidoo.     Your lens will be automatically added to next month contest (well, not really automatically - I add them by hand! LOL).
    All Fresh Squids who joined Fresh Squid group in April will be added in contest during May. OK? ;)

    Hello! I have a couple of questions about the contest:

    Am I supposed to enter a lens or do you automatically enter the one you put in the Fresh Squid Group? Is it a handycap to enter when the months is already more than half over? I didn't know about Fresh Squid until yesterday... :-(

    Unfortunately you placed it just before I could upload the beginnings of "The UNOFFICIAL BUBBLEGUM WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP" (for those who haven't entered The BUBBLEGUM WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP) to the page, a contest on the page that I am hoping will be totally unique on Squidoo.

    Hopefully the lens will be a booming success that brings more traffic to Squidoo!

    Looks like I'll have to reply you here since you haven't enable your contact button.... Fresh Squid contest can't be entered with adding links to lenses - this months (February) I've added lenses from lensmasters who joined Fresh Squid group during December... If your friends join Fresh Squid group during this month, their lenses will enter next month contest. I add them myself since it's only for Fresh Squids from our group.

    Thanks so much Willow for engineering a showcase opportunity for us new squids (my wife says I can no longer be referred to as fresh!) I am really, delighted, surprised and honored to see my lens included here with these other talented lensmakers. Ohme and Joan4's fingerprints and footprints do add quality wherever they are found and my first effort is blessed to include them. Other family priorities have limited the time I have been able to squidoo this past week and twin grandchildren are coming this week, but I hope to be able to work on another lens soon. Thanks again. 5* faved and lensrolled.
