How To Make Fried Rice

Your family will love it, and you don't even have to make reservations! My mom likes long cooking rice, but I find that instant rice fits better into my busy schedule. You can choose the rice that works best for your family, then simply follow the rest of the instructions to create a fresh batch of delicious ham fried rice.
Heather's Fried Rice
- Serves: 4 - 6
- Prep Time: 10 Minutes
- Total Time: 30 Minutes
Ingredients
- 1/4 onion
- 2 celery stalks
- 8-10 mushrooms
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2-3 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
- 1 lb. of diced ham (or meat of your choice)
- White Instant Rice
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
Rinse the celery and cut into 1/4" pieces. Mince the garlic into tiny pieces. Chop the onion and mushrooms into bite size pieces.
Saute the vegetables in 1 tablespoon of butter or margarine. Add the meat of your choice, and 2-3 tablespoons of soy sauce. Stir occassionally as the mixture simmers. Once the meat is tender, add the rice and water as instructed on the box. Cover, reduce heat and simmer until the rice is fully cooked.
