Very important lens, as I noticed that not everybody is using it or it is used only partially correct. Thanks
    Happy Easter

You did a good job explaining this, but I think I will hold off until I'm making the best use of the tools I already have. I'm still going to bookmark it.

I'm still trying to figure out Google circles, joined Amplify but don't really participate. I am considering joining your forum Linda, but then when I join something I don't get back to it for ages. I have to share computer time with hubby and it seems to run short a lot. But I'll add this to my list of possibilities because I want people to find me!

I am a member of friend feed, and can't even remember why I joined...and have never really understood how it could benefit me...I've learned a lot here! Blessed by the Diet and Nutrition Angel who's taking a little break to explore SEO:-)

I've been a Friend feed member for a while but haven't really had time to figure out what it's all about yet.

I'd heard of Friendfeed but never knew what it was until now. Thanks for explaining it so well.
  • stargazer00 Jun 11, 2009 @ 10:21 am | delete
Never heard of it till now. If it makes social media less overwhelming, I'm for it!
  • TheGreenerMe Jun 9, 2009 @ 8:57 am | delete
I've heard a lot about FriendFeed but I haven't joined yet. It seems like a good idea to further your social networking and organize it. Great work!

I like FF and have just returned from there having added RSS feeds of my lenses and RSS feeds of my squidcasts and the squidcasts of others. Just may prove very useful!

This is an awesome lens -- like the star in the title too! I must admit that I've not really used Fried Feed as I should be, but your helpful lens will make me better! ;)

As Seedplanter says, all this social newtworking can make one feel rather overwhelmed, but I will check this out.
  • spirituality Dec 18, 2008 @ 3:13 am | delete
Still don't really see the point. WHY should I join friend feed? (don't have to answer - off following some of your links now).
  • Mortira Nov 27, 2008 @ 2:45 am | delete
This sounds great! I will have to try it. Thank you so much for this great heads up and tutorial! You're most certainly invited to add a link to the Squidoo Help plexo on the Worst Lens Ever!
    5 stars!
  • seedplanter Nov 24, 2008 @ 10:41 am | delete
Linda, this is fantastic. Someone mentioned how they feel overwhelmed by all the social networks. I agree. It is nearly impossible to keep up. It's just too much. Friend Feed sounds like a one-stop solution. I've added it to my list of things to take care of this week.

Also posted a tweet with a link to this lens. I've never heard of Friend Feed until today. Thank you! Five *****s & a fave! I'm lensrolling you to my two Squidoo-related lenses, too.
  • Jewelsofawe Nov 12, 2008 @ 11:50 am | delete
I guess I already added you to my friend feed. Bad memory on my part

Great tips for FriendFeed. I have FriendFeed Feed, but haven't done a lot of networking there. Guess I better get started!

Thank you for this -- I needed the help. I think I am already a member there, but have never done anything with it. I will follow your instructions to the letter!
