So you are reading this because you have reached a point in your life where things are a-changing.

In my opinion, it depends on what the relationship was before the dating started. If you meet someone in a club, and then have a couple of dates, things can move pretty quickly. There is an excitement to the new relationship based on physical attraction. And in a way, our barriers to sex are lower when we are attracted to someone from the outset.

If sex doesn't occur on the occasion of meeting (which if we are honest, happens a great deal) then at least the subject will be tackled on the 2nd or 3rd meeting.

If, however, you start dating a friend you have known for a period of time, the situation is slightly different. You like each other because you are friends already, but there is a hesitation because of this friendship - a fear of going too far and not being able to go back to the safe regularity of that. Sex between friends that date, in my opinion, will occur quite a while after it would between virtual strangers. But I believe this is just a consequence of the society we live in.

For whatever reason, women seem to love a cheeky guy. They seem to like someone who has a sense of fun, but is not geeky about it. We are not talking practical jokes here, no buckets of water balanced on an open door, no whoopee cushions. These are little cheeky things that will make you smile, and draw you closer together.

Imagine a walk along the beach, barefoot and arm in arm. Now imagine that you playfully flick some water over her with your foot (this is where a bit of judgement comes in - you have to have some idea of her limits!). If you have one, then putting that froth on her nose would be equally as cheeky. But again - cheeky can turn to chumpy really quickly if you go too far, so just know where to hold back.
