Friends Are Angels in Disguise

As we walk our path of life,
We meet people everyday.
Most are simply met by chance.
But, some are sent our way.

These become special friends
Whose bond we can't explain;
The ones who understand us
And share our joy and pain.

Their love contains no boundaries.
So, even we are apart.
Their presence enhances us
With a warmth felt in the heart.

This love becomes a passageway,
When even the miles disappear.
And so, these friends, God sends our way,
Remain forever near.

How often we find ourselves turning our backs

on our actual friends, that we might go and meet

their ideal cousins.

When a friend is in trouble,

don't annoy him by asking if there is anything you can do.

People always come into your life for a reason, a season and a lifetime. When you figure out which it is, you know exactly what to do.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, or to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or even spiritually. They may seem like a godsend too you, and they are. They are there for a reason, you need them to be.

Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die, Sometimes they just walk away. Sometimes they act up or out and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and it is now time to move on.

When people come into your life for a SEASON, it is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season. And like Spring turns to Summer and Summer to Fall, the season eventually ends.

LIFETIME, relationships teach you a lifetime of lessons; those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person/people (anyway);, and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas in your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant. Thank you for being part of my life.....

Two men were traveling together, when a Bear suddenly met them on their path.
One of them climbed up quickly into a tree and concealed himself in the branches.

The other, seeing that he must be attacked, fell flat on the ground,
and when the Bear came up and felt him with his snout, and smelt him all over,
he held his breath, and feigned the appearance of death as much as he could.
The Bear soon left him, for it is said he will not touch a dead body.

When he was quite gone, the other Traveler descended from the tree,
and jocularly inquired of his friend what it was the Bear had whispered in his ear.

"He gave me this advice," his companion replied.

"Never travel with a friend who deserts you at the approach of danger."

I have a friend who is an angel. She has no wings, doesn't fly and, is a flesh-and-blood human being. She is as close to an angel as a human can get. She is kind and gentle, thoughtful, helpful and always --always reaching out to help others.

Best Friends are angels in human skin!

Two are better than one;

because they have a good reward for their labour.

For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow;

but woe to him that is alone when he falleth;

for he hath not another to help him up.

We call that person who has lost his father, an orphan;

and a widower, that man who has lost his wife.

But that man who has known that immense unhappiness of losing a friend,

by what name do we call him?

Have you ever met someone here in cyber-space and became fast friends? Sure you have. I have too. Many of you are like friends that live just down the street or maybe even next door. That's how my cyber-friends feel to me, like we've known each other for years.

What is a friend? A friend is someone we're connected to by feelings of great personal regard or who supports us. A friend thinks of what we need and fills that need without being asked, they think of our well-being when it seems we're not thinking of our own well-being. Friends do things for each other without expecting anything in return. Friends don't require repayment for deeds and favors.

Does this sound like anybody we know here on Squidoo? Yes, you got that right.

It's Rose aka sousababy, a sweet, thoughtful, generous, and genuinely sincere Squidoo friend. Rose unselfishly toots our trumpets loudly so the cyber-world can hear then come by our lenses and see for themselves what we're doing. She constantly promotes fellow lensmasters by featuring them and their causes.

Rose generously gives her personal time making sure Squidoo, Google, Yahoo and, every other cyber-entity knows about her fellow lensmasters. She makes sure each one is recognized for their Squidoo-ing efforts.
