So you like the TV show Friends and the goings on at Central Perk coffee house? Well you have defiantly found the right lens!

General funny man whose job nobody can really work out. Ross' college room-mate, so has known him for years. In early seasons Chandler shares a flat with Joey. Not great with women but eventually ends up marrying Monica. Played by Matthew Perry.

Joey Tribbiani

Womaniser who has been out with most of the women in New York. He is an actor who occasionally has lucky breaks. Lives with Chandler for the majority of the time but has also spend time as a room-mate to Rachel, Ross and Janine. Joey isn't the sharpest tool in the box and tends to be kept on the straight and narrow by Ross and Chandler. Played by Matt Le Blanc.

Ross Geller

Ross is very into dinosaurs and works as a palaeontologist at the Natural History Museum and as a lecturer for NYU. He has always loved Rachel since he was a teenager. They go through twists and turns and have a very on-off relationship. They have a child called Emma. Ross also has a son with his first wife Carol (who turned out to be gay). He's been married three times in all. Played by David Schwimmer.

Rachel Green

Rachel is a bit ditzy and works as a waitress in Central Perk during early seasons. She then goes on to work for Ralph Lauren. She is Monica's best friend and has been since they were in high school together. Lives with Monica, Phoebe, Joey and Ross at different points. Played by Jennifer Aniston.

Monica Bing (Geller)

Monica is Ross' little sister and works as a chef. She runs her own restaurant and is married to Chandler. Used to be fat during high school and now loves cooking food instead. Mother of the group. Ends up adopting twins when she and Chandler discover they can't have children. Played by Courteney Cox Arquette.

Phoebe Buffay

Phoebe has a very quirky character and works as a masseuse. She plays her guitar on a regular basis in Central Perk and has very weird and wonderful songs! Her biggest hit is smelly cat. Tends to be Joey's side kick as their personalities are very similar. Played by Lisa Kudrow.
