We were all like a fish out of water when it came to the game of disc golf...We were lucky to find a disc golf course right here in Langley, BC...
We all watched the video on the basics of disc golf but it seems that when we got to the course we all forgot what we had watched the night before, we couldn't even decide on the right way to throw a frisbee...We moved threw the game making up rules as we went, each with their own set of rules I'm sure of it...
We were only able to play nine holes due to the rest of the course being under water, for our first time out there, giving it a try, turned out to be a fun time...

We didn't actually use frisbee golf discs we just used a regular frisbee
We had never played a game of disc golf before, so we decided it was best if we went to Walmart and bought just regular frisbees for our first time out...We weren't sure if we'd like the game or if we'd ever play again...
Our frisbees did go pretty much in a straight line but I can honestly tell you that the regular frisbee isn't the way to go...We couldn't get our frisbees to go around the trees that we were faced with on the course...
Although we became extremely lucky when we ran into a couple of guys who had been playing disc golf for a few years and they were able to show us the difference between our silly frisbees and their actual disc golf frisbees...I gotta say that if you plan on playing this game the disc golf frisbee is the way to go, they go further and they actually go around the trees not right into them...
