Frollo of Notre Dame de Paris
Notre Dame de Paris is a French musical Notre Dame de Paris written by Richard Cocciante and Luc Plamondon. Frollo is a priest and studies science. Science and religion those are his great loves till he met Esmeralda. Frollo is very tormented by his infatuation with Esmeralda. Frollo was proud that he was above earthly emotions so to fall 'love" and to be a priest prove too overwhelming for him. He also fears that his desire is turning him into a criminal and that he'll die in his passion for her and though he losing control he feels no remorse about it. This lens features all the actors who have played Frollo in the musical, all 23 of them.

Daniel Lavoie Played Frollo in the Original French Cast.Lavoie was born March 17, 1949 in Dunrea, Manitoba, Canada. He is Franco Manitoban. He has been singing professionally since 1967. He released several albums before Notre Dame. Since Notre Dame he has released four albums, written songs, and in 2005 he performed in Le Petite Prince in Paris. He also reprise his role as Frollo in the 2000 London Production of Notre dame de Paris.
Lavoie acting is very retained and methodically. Lavoie is very expressive in voice and eyes, and his internal conflict is apparent. He never seem to know what to do with hand and this gives a vulnerability not seen in many renditions of Frollos.
In December 2010 Lavoie and the rest of the original cast did a reunion concert in Kiev, Moscow, and St Petersburg.
In Decemeber 2011 Lavoie and the rest of the original cast will perform another concert in France.
Jerome Collet
Jerome Collet was an alternate for Frollo and Quasimodo in the original French production, in 1999 cast, 2001 Mogador cast and 2005 Asian Tour Cast.Collet was born in Paris. Since 1993 he has been singing with the band "Bout Tortu's".

Francis Ruivivar played Frollo in the A Cast of Las Vegas Version of Notre Dame de Paris.Francis has starred on Broadway in Miss Saigon, becoming the first Asian-American to portray the Engineer (replacing Jonathan Pryce). He originated the roll of Lord Toranaga in Shogun The Musical for which he received a Theatre World Award. Notre Dame de Paris 2012-2013 Tour
According to General Entertainment Associates there will a 2012 Tour of Notre Dame de Paris. The Languge will be in English and it has not been re-translated. The original english translation that Will Jenning wrote will be used. Matt Laurent has confirmed he'll play Quasimodo.Robert Marien will play Frollo, and Myriam Brousseau will be the understudy for Fleur-De-Lys and Esmeralda.
Rehearsals will start this October in Paris before heading to China where they'll start touring. The tour with last for 8 to 9 month in English. Robert Marien will also be the vocal supervisor and Gilles Maheu will be the director.
