From LasVegas to Los Angeles

The US trip of a life time
We were particular interested in seeing Los Angeles. We are both big movie fans so LA/Hollywood very special to us. Of course there are many more reasons to go such as the beach, the hills etc. So we both decided that LA would be great end point of the trip. But where to start? Well of course going to the west coast of the US you would also have to see Las Vegas!
In November 2010 we finally went. First the usual trip to the Airport Schiphol, it's always quite exciting with our railway provider NS. But we made it without any delays. While booking for this trip I made the decision to fly with our National pride KLM. We have been on many trips with all kind of shitty airlines such as Egypt Air and barley survived the trip caused by bad food and service. So this time it had to be good!
The trip takes about 11 hours to fly to LA, as this was not the beginning of our trip we had to take a connecting flight to Las Vegas. The first problem was there when we had to enter the US through customs. This took such a long time that we missed our connecting. So everyone who needs a connecting flight from LA please take enough time for customs. This is taking a long time. Luckily KLM and Delta Airlines are partners so we were easily rebooked on a flight 3 hours later. After a good burger good spirits were back and we flew to Las Vegas.
We arrived around 22:00 at night and took a cap to hour hotel. We stayed at the Wynn. A beautiful hotel right on the strip, just really awesome.
The next day we had a pretty good breakfast and walked around the strip. The casinos are absolutely impressive. It was very nice to see classics such as the Caesars Palace, MGM Grand, Palazzo and Bellagio. Really something different than playing
games at home.
But to be honest after 2 days of Vegas you have quite seen it. It was a great experience but it isn't a real one. Everything is focused on money. From the casino floor to you own hotel room, all is terribly expensive.
We rented a car at Avis and drove off to Los Angeles. I think it's about 5/6 hours' drive. I was quite excited because that night we were going to see the Los Angeles Lakers. I have been a real NBA fan for years so this was pretty special to me.
I was so surprised by the fact that it is so easy to visit an American basketball game. You just drive to the stadium, in this case the Staples Centre, park your car and wave you ticket and find your seats. Of course we went for the cheap $ 40 tickets but the view was pretty cool. After the oh so American anthem we enjoyed a nice game.
The next view days we spend in Los Angeles were awesome. Our hotel was located in Santa Monica. The beach was great and the surroundings are very relaxed, hip and happening. Nice places to drink coffee and a bagel. We drove around in Malibu, a place that you have to visit. We also really enjoyed watching the houses in Bell Air and Beverly Hills. An absolute super experience was having lunch at Rodeo Drive at a fancy Italian restaurant.
The last night we went clubbing in LA. And with a big headache we got to LAX airport and flew back home with the KLM.
Great days and a trip never to forget!!
New iPod app allows track of gambling success

I love my iPad. It's the ultimate traveling device and excellent to take along in planes. There are a lot of games out there, but my favorite game must be roulette :)
Choosing the right game is a difficult task for a gamer. But now they all could be relieved as the WinLoss Slot Player's Diary was launched in January. This is a new iPhone app that allows gamblers, for only $8 available on the iTunes Store, to keep track of their succes and losses across multiple games in order to choose the slot game that suits best for them.
The software of this app reports all wins and losses of a player, provide which games and casinos offer the best payouts and gives comprehensive documentation about tax returns. The reports can be organized by location, type of slot game, time played and even by individual games.
The application functions on Apple's iPad and iPod touch devices sure will reach more gamers with the forthcoming of the popular iPad 2 Tablet.
