Please don't hesitate to purchase this item. I used to purchase this for my dogs and cat at my local veterinary and now I will never do that again. The price is about 1/3 of what I would have paid. NO ticks on the dog.

We use Frontline Plus for flea control because it works. We started with Advantage when our Golden was younger, and that worked well, too... but our dog likes to swim and Frontline is waterproof so we switched. She is 8 yrs old now and has never had a flea - which is amazing since we live in S.CA. near the beach where fleas abound and visit parks all the time. You are supposed to put on monthly... I end up putting on every other month and in winter every 2-3 months... seems to work fine with those intervals. Frontline isn't cheap - but Amazon has best price

This is the second time I have purchased Frontline Plus from Amazon. I scoured the internet for the best price and Amazon was the place to buy from. My dog's vet could not compete with the cost! I highly suggest if you need to buy Frontline Plus; then do it at Amazon!

Frontline works great for my small dog. When we got him, he was covered in fleas, but since we started using Frontline (at our vet's recommendation) we haven't had any more problems. Additionally, we live in an area where deer roam through our yard and have not had any problems with ticks either.

K9 Advantix works great on my dog. He is a little more active than most and likes to run around in the rain, so the medication doesn't always last a whole month for him.
