All you will need for your fruit wine making project is a few household utensils; a two gallon container, (after filling with ingredients cover container with a bag and string or use an airlock specifically designed for wine making,) sweet fruit (crushed), sugar or honey, wine yeast or regular yeast and water. In about two months you will have some fine homemade fruit wine. (Just a side note, you may taste the fruit wine a little early, but don't drink it as the "green" fruit wine will cause a stomach ache.) The product will need to be filtered, possibly several times to have a beautifully clear glass of fruit wine. Enjoy!

There are simple recipes and countless books with step by step directions for fruit wine making that are easily accessible on your home computer. You can make two gallons of fruit wine that you can boast about and share with your friends just as simply as you can grill a steak on your backyard barbeque.

Great article! I must agree that making your own fruit wine is definitely something you should try if you have any interest in wine making at all. Making wine has been one of the most satisfying, fun, and sometimes frustrating things I have ever done. I have even made wine for my cousin's wedding and it was a huge hit. I had labels created with the couple's picture on it as well and we gave them out to every guest.

    Regards,
    Jake
