Welcome to Fucoidan
Welcome to Fucoidan.
Fucoidan is a polysaccharide found in brown seaweed. The health benefits of fucoidan have been explored in numerous scientific studies, and continue to be researched extensively.
Fucoidan's nutritional value stems largely from its native environment--the sea. Fucoidan is rich in calcium, iodine, zinc, iron, selenium and vitamin A. These nutrients are essential for proper functioning of the immune, circulatory and neurological systems.
Studies have shown that fucoidan possesses anti-cancer and anti-clotting effects. It is helpful for joint pain, liver support, cardiac function and digestion. It has also been claimed to enhance skin tissue, aid in maintaining healthy cholesterol levels, and improve cellular protection and regeneration.
A few other benefits of Fucoidan that have been researched are:
* Fucoidan supports the normal disposal of non-native cells.
* Fucoidan may help stimulate immune response when the body is attacked.
* Fucoidan helps modulate the immune system.
* Fucoidan supports normal cellular health.
* Fucoidan supports blood circulation to native body cells.
* Fucoidan may help regenerate healthy skin tissue.
* Fucoidan supports healthy joint mobility at all ages.
Go ahead and Google the word "Fucoidan". You'll be amazed at how many studies it's been part of and the promising results that many researchers foresee in the future.
Eating right, exercising, and using moderation in things like alcohol are all things we can do to help our bodies stay healthy and promote our immune system health. But do all of us do all of the right things for our bodies? Doesn't it make sense to start taking supplements to ensure our bodies are healthy? That we strengthen and maintain our immune system? Doesn't it make sense to start adding Fucoidan to our daily diet?
(Please note that these statements have not been evaluated by the US Food and Drug Administration.)
Researchers began studying fucoidan around 1970, and since that time fucoidan has been cited in approximately 700 studies published in the National Library of Medicine''s database. The overall findings of this large body of research, coupled with anecdotal evidence provided by a long history of use of fucoidan-bearing seaweed in areas such as Japan, Hawaii and Tonga, indicate that fucoidan demonstrates great potential as a safe nutritional answer for a wide variety of health complaints.

Fucoidan - Your Immune System, Pain and Joint Relief
Help Your Immune System and Reduce Joint Pain
There are a few things that everyone can do to help their immune system stay healthy, with or without Fucoidan. Here are a few tips to do so.
First off, you need to get enough sleep. Easier said than done sometimes, but your body needs a full night of quality shut-eye to fight pain and inflammation. Sleep creates growth hormones in your body that stimulate tissue repair and allow you to recover from chronic pain. If your pain prevents you from sleeping, lavender helps you nod off, so will melatonin. If muscle cramps wake you, you need calcium as well.
Feed your body right. Pain drains your energy even as your body cries out for more energy stores to battle the pain. A daily dose of Vitamin B complex restores spent energy, while 5 grams of the sugar D-ribose twice daily stimulates the production of adenosine triphosphate, the fuel that powers the body's tissues and muscles. People who suffer from excessive muscle and joint pain often have low levels of ribose. In addition to taking these supplements, eat lots of fruits. Cherries, in particular, can provide you more pain relief than aspirin or over-the-counter painkillers. Pineapple is another fruit that is a natural anti-inflammatory. It contains bromelain and, for best results, should be eaten by itself and not with other foods during mealtimes.
Commit to exercising. That old adage "use it or lose it" definitely applies to this dilemma. Movement gets energy flowing and helps muscles release. These two are essential when you want to cure your body. If you're too sore to get started, think simple and easy. Begin with a 10-minute walk, take up a gentle yoga class, or try other slow motion exercises. People suffering from arthritis or joint pain say that their pain was greatly reduced after regularly going to their workout classes. If even that's too hard to follow, hit the pool. Just know that the health clubs will give you all the support you'll ever need to increase your muscle strength and endurance. The different movements can now be done without the added strain of gravity. As you age, you need to be careful about high-impact exercises because these things could actually make things worse for you.
Of course, in addition to eating the right foods and getting involved in an exercise program, a supplement containing Fucoidan is a good idea. Strengthening and maintaining immune health isn't difficult when you take a sensible approach and ensure you deliver the optimum nutrients to your body for use.
