Full of Shoes, A Lensography

Or so said Mom on a regular basis.

I've always liked to write but never understood until I had the time, just how much I LOVE it. It was worth the wait.

Bumping into Squidoo has given me the opportunity to spread my wings and get things out of mind and onto "paper".

When I'm not Squidoo-ing, I dabble in online marketing. SEO intrigues me. Although I am earning very little, I'm learning a lot.

The best part is that I am having a whole lot of fun.

When I was managing people I preached "do what you love and love what you do". It's a gift if you are lucky enough to make your living doing something you truly enjoy.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to practice my own preaching. Raising two kids as a single Mom didn't allow me the luxury of doing what I love even if I'd known what it was at the time.

Today the kids are grown and I have a WONDERFUL domestic partner (or is it "significant other"). He gives me great freedom and tremendous support at this ripening older age to follow my new dreams.

Like my bio says, I'm a baby boomer and corporate escapee; released from captivity. I am now free to move about the cabin.
