Full Time Camping

One of the key advantages of Full Time Camping is that all it takes to technically start camping is to throw the motorhome or tow vehicle into "Park"! Full Time Camping can be a highly self-efficient way to live. With no rent to pay and hardly any bills! Any stretch of land can become an impromptu campsite for the night. Of course, campground owners don't much like this free-wheelin' philosophy, but you can't beat the price of a night of dry camping. Free camping can be found throughout many of the million acres governed of the Bureau of Land Management and National Wildlife Refugees.

Is Full Time Camping For You?

Is your RV up to the challenge? Are you?

Full Time CampingHere's a few things to consider before Full Time Camping.
Safety The problem with Full Time Camping in unfamiliar RV Parks is you just don't know. You often don't know your neighbors or the locations you are staying over night.

How about full-time RV camping in the winter? Can it be done?
Full Time Camping during the winter is not for everyone, so before you launch yourself into the winter in a camper, make sure you wouldn't prefer a snowbird winter down south. Take of your shoes and enjoy the beach camping in Key West Florida sun, fun, leave your mark in the sand. Down South every day is a great day for camping!
If you are up north during the winter months in a camper, great care must be taken in your camper to keep the water lines from freezing.

I love this. I actually dream of doing this....some day soon I hope!
Pre-internet days my hubby (now ex) and I paid a full year membership at a camp grounds. It was only $125 for the year. We had a 3 room cabin tent that we set up at the camp grounds for months in a row and just left it there. We spent all our time out there and it was wonderful. I was much younger then, so no tent camping for me now with my back....but I really miss it!
