Fullheart Ministries Feed the Homeless
It's still dark when this team of dedicated servants roll out of bed on Sunday mornings...
They head to the kitchen to prepare biscuits and gravy to take to an area known as "The Zone" in Phoenix, Arizona. It's a place where the homeless congregate...it's the place that Fullheart Ministries shows up with a hot breakfast, inspirational music and a message of hope from Pastor Brad.
The trailer is loaded with tables and chairs, and when the food is ready; everyone heads out to share their faith with those whose lives are in great turmoil.
Homelessness is a tremendous challenge in Phoenix, as it is all over our country....Fullheart Ministries is taking great strides to help alleviate this atrocity in our neighborhood.
We truly believe that Jesus is the answer to all of lifes problems. As his servants, we strive to carry the message of hope for the future; as well as a good, hot breakfast!

Together; the plan is to eradicate the feeling of hopelessness in our neighborhood, and the reality of homelessness!
God has a good plan for all of us, and together we can implement that plan.
Jesus said that HE would build his church, and as we listen to his instructions, we reach out to our neighbors to bring them the tangible love of Christ.

Michael Walcott...Vice President
Like the rest of the men ofFullheart Ministries, Michael covers many
of the tasks essential to the routine operations of serving breakfast to the homeless.
Michael helps with the shopping for supplies at Sam's Club, as well as helping to prepare and
serve the food.
During the service, he hovers throughout the crowd to meet the needs of the people who have showed up for the food, fellowship and time of worship.
Once the service has ended, he helps to load the trailer, then heads back to the kitchen to
help wash the dishes, and begin to prepare for the next week's service.

Augie Sanchez, Vice President, Fullheart Ministries
Augie is another one of the VP's of Fullheart Ministries.He's another one of the men who show up at the Zone on Sunday mornings to serve breakfast, encourage the hopeless, and help clean up after the service.
Augie works full time, is a busy dad, and a faithful friend to the other men at Fullheart Ministries.
These friends greet each other with a hearty "Praise the Lord, a slap on the back...then head out to do the work that God has laid on their hearts.
They have all faced the dark days of times past, they have overcome many obstacles to be in this place of servitude in which they find themselves today...
They are men of honor. They exemplify the love of Christ in their every endeavor. When the phone rings, and it's a fellow brother; there's a sense of comaraderie with which the world needs to become better acquainted.
Augie is a leader in the arena of mentoring young men of God. Quietly, unobtrusively...serving others from the foundation of a heart full of love for God, love for others...and a willingness to put feet on his faith.
His faithfulness is much appreciated.

"Full-Heat Ministries"
July and August are the worst times of the year for the residents of Phoenix.Fullheart Ministries becomes known as Full-Heat during these critical months of the year...The homeless are the hardest hit when temperatures soar well over 100 degrees.
Pastor Brad and the rest of the men of Fullheart distribute water, food and Gatorade every Sunday morning...in spite of the heat.
Ray endures an extra portion of heat, since he's in charge of the cooking! He serves with a willing heart, and without complaint...he's blesses my heart with his gentle spirit and quick wit!
The men of Fullheart share the Word of God...regardless of the physical toll that the weather imposes...
Blessing their efforts is one way you can help the homeless in Phoenix...or in your hometown!
