A Fun and Easy Camping Recipe For Omelettes

Making Omelettes for breakfast can be fun and delicious too! You will need:

- a camp stove
- a pan to boil water
- eggs
- ziploc bags
- all the fixins, like cooked sausage, chopped onions, shredded cheese, diced ham, seasonings, etc.

Once the water is boiling, crack open an egg and drop the raw egg yolk into a ziploc bag. Seal the bag and 'squish' the egg throughly. Once the egg is done being 'squished', add any fixings of choice to the ziploc and reseal leaving air inside the bag. Drop the bag into the boiling water until the egg is throughly cooked.

We have hobo meals: hamburger patty, seasoned as desired, sliced potatoes, cheese, sliced onions. Wrap all ingredients in foil, roll seals to make tight, and cook in coals until potatoe is tender. Delicious. Blessings!

I love anything cooked over a campfire. A favorite is what we called shore dinner which consists of fish, butter and seasonings put in foil and placed over the coals, you can add potatoes, onion and other vegetables or do a separate package for them. Open a can of beans and set that in the coals and get ready for delicious.

My right advise is to keep your foods inside the great containers and coolers you've brought with you camping. Only bring meals out for meal time and snacks. When you are leaving your campsite for very long durations of time place your food containers within your auto. And do not ever leave open foods or any food merchandise on your picnic table, consuming table, within your tent or just laying approximately your campsite except you want it to vanish. If you do, you are going to draw in significantly more animals as they'll see your online site as very simple prey. Get an thought on what to have a great deal more right here at MRE.

A quick and easy way to make some food over the fire is putting canned items right on the coals and letting them cook! I do this with veggies and soups. My two favorite things are thick and hearty soups from campbells and creamed corn. MMMMM!

I love sausages (bangers is slang term in NZ). They get a really smokey taste that just cannot be beaten.....ohhhh, getting hungry thinking about it, because I haven't had a decent banger since leaving NZ :(
