We know that fun hobbies are a proven way to fill up your free time and a great way to create another stream of income. If you have retired recently you could probably use some additional income. Many people have made their hobbies into a very successful business ventures.
We are always looking for new and different hobbies and for each of these we will also try to determine whether there is a potential for an income stream. The objective of this lens is to introduce you to as many hobbies as we can. Women love woodworking too

Social attitudes are changing and there is an increase in the numbers of women entering into the field of woodworking. Employees at the home improvement and hardware stores often refused to take women seriously. These stores are frequently considered 'masculine space' where women's presence is often discouraged. This is changing rapidly in most areas. Guess you can teach an old dog new tricks! Strangely though, tools don't seem to know whether the operator is a man or a woman. The only thing a tool responds to is the skill of the operator and women can often do more intricate work than a man. My scrollsawing students are almost half women.
