Hear are some great ideas for free family fun, whether it is on a cold winters night or the kids are very bored, i am sure these will help to past the time.

Movie Nights :
1) Firstly it is important to get everyone involved in the process of choosing the type of film to watch, what time you are going to watch it and where to get the film from.
2)Set the kids the task of designing invites for everyone, with the time and location the movie will take place. This will get their creative side flowing.
3)Next what would a film night be without entry tickets, have your kids again design and make them. Another added bonus for them would be adult would have to pay for their entry with chocolate coins.
4)When the agreed date and time is due prepare the food and drinks, then round up the troops for a fun filled night on the sofa.

The Circus
As with the film night create a circus day with the family to held one weekend !

- Select a circus venue and create a poster with the children, showing the time, date and the performances that people can expects to see and place in the home for all to see.
- Prepare for the big performance, define peoples characters and roles. You may need a ring master, an acrobat, a clown and even get the pets involved if you have any.
- Create the costumes for the big day, there is no need to spend any money, it will be more fun creating costumes from old clothes and each others. Hint : Dads shoes will make very funny clowns feet.
- Write short sketches for your chosen characters to follow, decide what order you will go in and now you are ready for the big day, well after a lot of practice. Enjoy !

Only use things lying around the house to create a fun tea party !
Party time
- Create the invitations with the kids for everyone coming to the tea party, use bright colored paper and any sparkly things you have lying around. Don't forget Teddy's invite !
- Prepare the menu for the big day and get the children involved in making cornflake cakes, sponge cakes and the sandwiches on the morning of the tea party.

Decorate the tea party location. Chose your location and spend time making decorations for the event including the table, chairs, hats and balloons.
