So you're finding yourself at a loss for things to do with your sweetheart on Valentine's Day. 1. Cafe Latte
St. Paul, MN

Cafe Latte is a hot locals spot, located on Grand Ave in St. Paul, it is sure to please.
Visit for a meal, or simply just dessert, they have a little bit of everything and it is beyond scrumptious.
Care to have a drink with that? Cafe Latte also features a bar on the other side of the cafe just in case you have the hankering for something alcoholic.
For directions, hours, or more details, you can visit their website: Cafelatte.com

2. The Depot
Minneapolis, MN

If you want something different and fun, then the Depot is definitely somewhere you should try. Formerly an old railroad station, it is now turned into an indoor ice skating rink in the winter.
Rent skates there or bring your own, this place is so much fun to visit. Complete with music and sometimes concessions, it's a unique experience that many locals indulge in. Bring your Valentine's Day chocolates and surprise them afterwards!

Ice skating at the Depot is a fun past-time for couples or for families.

3. Snuffy's Malt Shop
St. Paul, MN

A diamond in the rough, this small-town malt shop is the cutest place to have a laid-back, old style meal.
Their food is incredible, inexpensive, and worth trying. Not to mention their homemade milkshakes in a variety of flavors, you just can't leave without trying one.
Usually pretty quiet, this restaurant is certainly one of Highland Park's best kept secrets.
I should mention, they also have more locations in Roseville, Minnetonka, and Edina.

4. Uncommon Grounds
Minneapolis-ish

The name of this cafe says it all, but for a coffee shop, it's incredibly unique. Founded in a housing structure, this two-story shop offers a charming ambiance with dimmed lighting, music, candle light, and comfortable seating. Indulge in a dessert, or sip gourmet coffee gifts, you'll soon see why this place is loved by many.
Not to mention, they're very well-known for their chai, which is good to know, in case you're a big chai enthusiast.

- The Arboretum at the Como Zoo has romantic Valentine's Dinners. It would be so neat to be surrounded by beautiful flowers while sharing a gourmet dinner with your sweetie. The Depot would be a fun place to spend Valentine's Day! Great Lens.
