Hiking!
And hiking is great exercise for both me and Mum. We started hiking as part of my agility conditioning program - because jumping over those logs, chasing a few squirrels, and hiking up and down hills is a wonderful way for me to get in shape for agility.
But the best part is we do it for fun! We get to see lots of great scenery, smell some wonderful fresh air (and dead stuff, too), and we get to spend time together having a great time.
Check out my Squidoo lens on Hiking With Your Dog for great info, resources, and lots more!
Gracie and I love the snow!

Playing fetch comes natural to some dogs, but not all!I love to play fetch with a certain ball in the backyard. But when it came to fetching other things inside the house or snowballs, Mum had to teach me to catch and play fetch!
The ASPCA has a great article on how to play fetch with your dog!
So get out there and have some fun!

- Fun lens! I went dog sledding once in the Canadian Rockies and loved it. Our dog (an English Bulldog) is a little low slung, so he doesn't really like the snow ... in fact, we have to shovel a path to a patch for him to use in the winter :) Thanks for putting together such a cute lens.

- We play snowball fetch with our dog, cant get over how funny it is when she cant find the "ball"! She loves the snow! I would love to try tracking with her but she isn't the sharpest at learning things, I took us quite a long time to agility train her! Thanks for the ideas and great lens!

- I like the positive attitude! :) One of my greyhounds is a real winter enthusiast, despite being born-and-bred in the southern US; the other looks out at the cold white Canadian winter and assures me he really really can go another hour before he needs to step out there!

- One of my dogs love to snowball catch and the other just gets hit in the face when I try. Must be an ability you are born with. But they both love being in the snow, especially the first snow of the year. Great lens.
