    Great lens. I've created something similar: Making bags in the classroom. You use old jeans for the bag. It's great too.

    As a quilter, I really appreciate all the other things that can be done with fabric and some that didn't even occur to me. Great job on this lens of fun things to do.

    Glad you're creating with fabric! Fabric dolls have been made for generations--they're the best kind, I think!

    TEN grandkids - what a blessing! Our fourth was born on Oct. 30th. We have three granddaughters and now a grandson! Life is sweet. Thanks for leaving a comment. I hope you eleven find a fun craft you can make together!

    I think I was born a "crafty person". I not only like to use my left over materials in quilts but I like to make other things with them too. Great Lens with lot of information.

    Very informative! My kids and I love doing crafts together and we will definitely be using some of the new ideas from this lens! We live in California and always shop for our notions and tools and such at Beverly's Fabric & Crafts... I recommend all crafters go there. very friendly and helpful employees.     Great activity/crafting ideas. Kids really need to do more of this kind of things versus TV and such.

    Micki, my oldest granddaughter is now nine. When she was five, we made a table-size Christmas tree together. She uses it every year and it's a special memory! (Isn't grandparenting fun?)

    I love the craft for special occasions ideas. As a Grandmother, I now have something to do with my granddaughter! I think I will start with the wreath!
