Paper dolls take me way back to when I was about 6 or 7 years old. I remember how excited I was to receive a book with these beautiful paper dolls. The dolls themselves where actually made of a light cardboard that you could make stand up with these little cardboard stands. The book had pages and pages of beautiful paper clothes that you cut out or tore out along perforated lines. I remember I had so much fun with paper dolls, spending hours on my bedroom floor with a friend or my little sister. Dressing them up and changing there looks. Paper dolls are still popular with little girls today, only now there are so many different styles and types available. From vintage, to cute baby dolls and everything in between. I will share some great sites and information on paper dolls with you in this lens!
Fun with Paper Dolls
Paper dolls are figures that are cut out of light cardboard or paper that have separate clothes that can be put on and off the dolls with paper tabs that hold the clothing in place. They have been around for nearly two hundred years. Paper dolls have been used in magazines for advertising, They have now become collectibles for many people. Paper dolls are still sought after and being created today! From 'Barbie' paper dolls to all kinds of vintage paper dolls!

- OH yes. I played with paper dolls as a kid. I particularly loved the books where you colored the paper dolls then cut them out. My imagination ran wild. Great lens!!
