From the lens Fun with Paper Dolls.

I still have lots of fun creating fashion diva paper dolls with my "little sister". We're both adults now, but we'd like to go into the paperdoll business, making and selling our own paperdolls. I'm glad to hear that they're still popular with the kids nowdays!

I've even started a story about a girl who makes "paper doll trends". She's into fashion, but before she makes the clothes for herself, she makes the outfit for her paperdoll and posts pictures up to get everyone else's opinion on the outfit. After I've gotten enough paperdoll fashions created and enough feedback from fans, I'm going to turn all the trends into actual paper dolls & paper clothes for people to buy.

I guess you could say it's a paperdoll trend that the fans get to help fashion. It's silly, but it's fun! I hope other people can have as much fun helping Krissy fashion her paperdoll trends as I am having making them!

We would cut out the people from the Sears catalog and the furniture to play paper dolls with. I'll lensroll this to my paper dolls lens.

Oh, yes, paper dolls are economic and portable and as suited to solitary play as 'play dates'. Mine was a paper doll childhood. (Just finished writing about those paper doll days, and am browsing the pages that showed up in the discovery too.)l.

I used to play for hours on end with paper dolls. I had few playmates back then, and many dolls and paper dolls. I got good at doing the talking for all of them as we shared the adventures of my imagination. I almost wrote about paper dolls myself, but I didn't have any pictures in my file of playing with those.

I really never played with paper dolls when I was little. However, my daughter loves them and was sitting here beside me eager to check out your links. She tells me the link to the Free Printable Barbie doll and clothes is an undiscovered gem.

I used to get the Betsy McCall paper dolls. I think they came in McCall's magazine that my mom used to get. Had a lot of fun with those and thought they were really cool. I did not know that paper dolls were still popular. They seem old fashioned today with all the technology we have.
