Never in my wildest imagination...Baking?

would I have thought I would ever like to bake. If my family could eat everything I bake I would bake more but we are a healthy eating family so I only bake every once in a while or special occasions.

My family is always requesting something they want. My 3 kids and my husband all have requests for their birthdays and with all 3 in school they all want to take something to school for their friends.

I recently made my husband a carrot cake for his birthday. It's his favorite but I don't like it and the kids don't really either so he get a whole cake.

Everyones fav is chocolate chip cookies. Everyone but my daughter who doesn't like chocolate which I make hers without the chips. My sister loves them so I give her cookies for her birthdays.


Ingredients

It amazes me how many recipes ask for ingredients that are either not made any more or not available where you live. I look at recipes and make sure that all the ingredients can be found or are common everyday items before I finish looking at it.

I like the recipes that you don't spend all day preparing. I like the quick and easy recipes.
