Fundraiser Ideas for your school - team - charity

RecycleComing up with money making fundraiser ideas can be a challenge.

We've been making money with fundraisers for years and we'll show you some that are quick and easy. We'll show you others that are easy and long-term.

Fundraiser Ideas - Soda Sales

CocaColaOne easy idea is to sell soda products to your boosters, parents or attendees.

It's not what you think. What our organization did was work with the local Coca Cola distributor. They agreed to sell us 20 once bottles of soda at a discount. Parents and others ordered what they wanted ahead of time, then we placed the order with Coca Cola.

Coca Cola then arranged delivery on a specific date that coincided with one of our booster meetings and the parents picked up their order.

EASY!

Fundraiser Ideas - 50/50 Raffle

Another EASY idea!

Buy a roll of two-part tickets. Have two volunteers walk around your event selling the tickets for $2 each or three for $5.

Near the end of your event (we do this at home football games at our high school) announce the winner.

We have made hundreds of dollars for *almost* nothing!

Fundraiser Ideas - Don't throw away those empty ink cartidges!

PhotobucketThis fundraiser idea falls under the category of "Long-term fundraising.

Search for a local business that will buy your old inkjet and other pinter cartridges. They may even provide you with a recepticle to put them in.

Place the container in a high traffic area like the front office at your school. If your organization has regular meetings, send out an e-mail the day before to remind everyone to bring in their cartridges.

Money -- Money -- Money!

Fundraiser Ideas - Aluminum Can Recycling

If you have a metals recycler in your area they will probably buy your aluminum. Here's how the math works...

Our local recycling company will pay 80 cents per pound of cans. Imagine that a family of four consumes one soda each day. That's 28 cans saved in a week. If you had 100 families saving cans that 2800 cans saved in one week!

In a month you would have collected 11,200 cans. There are about 34 cans in a pound. That's about 329 pounds of cans in one month.

At 80 cents a pound that's $263 FOR FREE!
