The Funniest Commercials From Around The Globe

This is a compilation of the funny commercials. It doesn't matter if the commercial is for a multinational company, a local car dealership, or a fake advertisement you made on your own, we don't care as long as its funny. We will keep the page updated by periodically posting funny commercials. Just post the links to the advertisements you like and we will post them on the page.

We are particularly looking for those GEMS that have not hit the main stream. Some of the funniest commercials are those cheesy advertisements done for the local car dealerships or local law firms. 10. Budweiser Clydesdales Play Football

Superbowl XXX

Budweiser Clydesdales have been a Super Bowl ad tradition for years. Sometimes they're in touching commercials, other times they're in silly commercials, and in their commercial for the Super Bowl in 1996, they played football. AnheuserBusch, Budweiser's parent company, sought to retire the horse commercials in 2010, but relented after fans expressed their love for the animals on Facebook.

9. Old Spice "The Man Your Man Could Smell Like"

Superbowl XLIV

This Old Spice commercial launched the phenomenon of "The Man Your Man Could Smell Like." Former football player Isaiah Mustafa and his deep voice coupled with his Adonis body targeted the ladies watching the big game with promises of diamonds, "two tickets to that thing you like," and directives to "Look at me, the man your man could smell like." And if the hilarity and absurdity of it all wasn't enough, Mustafa revealed to viewers that not only did he smell good, but he could deliver his oration while riding a cleverly concealed horse.

8. Xerox Monks

Super Bowl X

The first Xerox Monks commercial premiered during Super Bowl X. It starred Borscht belt comedian Jack Eagle as "Brother Dominic," a clever monk with the secret power of the Buick sized Xerox 9200 copier on his side. The commercial won every award given by the advertising industry at the time and is in the CLIO Hall of Fame. Five more monks commercials were shot over the next five years.

7. Troy Polamalu's Remake of Mean Joe Green

Superbowl XLIII

Joe Green's Coca Cola commercial was an all time classic, but in the humor department, well there was no humor. But this Superbowl XLIII remake puts a hilarious twist on Mean Joe Green's classic Superbowl XII commercial.

6. Snickers Superbowl XLIV Featuring Betty White

Another game changer that was responsible for reviving Betty White's career and changing the way Snickers advertises. Several variations of this commercial have since been made. Actors like Rosanne Bar and Richard Lewis have since been featured on subsequent runs of this successful series, and while they may not be as funny as the original, they still prove to be pretty darn funny.

5. Terry Tate - Office Linebacker

Super Bowl XXXVII

Terry Tate brings it in the office. There are body slams by the water cooler and tackles over T.P.S. reports. Tate, played by Lester Speight, formerly a real life linebacker for the USFL's Baltimore Stars, kicked off a series of testosterone laced shorts where Reebok sends him in to boost productivity. His message: "When it's game time, it's pain time, baby!"

4. Bud....Weis....Errrrrrr....... "Frogs"

Super Bowl XXIX: January 29, 1995

The Budweiser Frogs ad campaign kicked off during Super Bowl XXIX with a 30 second ad featuring the amphibians croaking out the name of the beer company. Eventually, the frogs were joined by two chameleons, as well as a ferret hit man. Parents groups complained that the cute frogs were designed to make beer appealing to children, so by 2000, AnheuserBusch had dropped the frogs in favor of the lizards. Not nearly as cute.

3. Cheatin Coke Guy

This Superbowl Classic sparked a long running series of commercials where the "Coke Delivery Man" sacrifices loyalty to quench his thirst. These ads still continue to run to this day.

2. Career Builder - Monkeying Around

CareerBuilder.com's Super Bowl debut in 2005 during Superbowl XL. It drew more than 150 million media impressions and numerous awards. All three of CareerBuilder.com's chimp advertisements airing during the Super Bowl earned a spot on the Top 10 list in USA TODAY's Ad Meter. In addition, one spot is named "Funniest Commercial of the Year" in TBS's annual poll and is included in CBS's "The Forty Greatest Super Bowl Commercials" special.

1. Talking eTrade Baby

Why number one, well for starters the lasting impression that this commercial has made. This commercial forever changed the way eTrade advertises. Variations of this same commercial are used today and still remain to be clever and funny. What's funnier then a talking, stock trading, baby! You have to appreciate the risk eTrade took with this and their other commercials. They were the pioneer for this type of advertising for the stock brokerage industry and it has paid huge dividends.
