Very cute, and somewhat true...I come from an extended family of rednecks, and the two "cultures" have a bit in common!
  • clembob May 18, 2009 @ 11:33 am | delete
Excellent job. Fortunately hillbillies don't have activists and organizations to squelch this sort of thing. Making fun of a fake stereotype - cool

Nice lens! Very funny stuff. I noticed the photograph above "Hillbilly Stomping Ground" is actually a scenic view of the Mtns of Harlan County Ky. I'm rolling this lens to my Harlan County lens. Also wanted to thank you for your kind comments on my lenses as well. Great job, 5 stars!

Ah -- cute lens. FYI, I have an ex husband that affectionately referred to himself as a hillbilly because of his interesting upbringing. Funny thing though that he went on to become the CEO of a major Ohio company that was featured as one of the great companies to work for.

Hi, living now in the Ozarks makes me a hillbilly :) A funny story about the Ozarks no lie, The other day I was passed by a limo on the instertate with a trailer hitch pulling a U-Haul. LOL
  • clembob May 12, 2009 @ 10:39 am | delete
Hey Jimmie, Thanks for the feedback. Generally speaking "hillbilly" is applied to pretty much anyone from Ky down to Alabamy and on over to the Ozarks.

Humorous lens! I've been called a hillbilly, but since I'm from the Mississippi bottom that's impossible!

Love the blog man. The sheep lover story was wack and I love the writing style.
