Funny things kids say and do, caught on video
Little children are adorable - and funny. They tell the truth (especially when we least expect them to!) - and their minds are not yet affected by SHOULDs of grown-ups' cultural, social and other norms.
Unfortunately, they also grow far too fast and that's why catching funny moments like the ones in selected videos below - is especially valuable. It preserves precious memories for many years to come, for loved ones to enjoy.
I'd like to thank to all the parents who recorded these videos and shared them with the rest of us.
Another big thank you goes to all the parents worldwide who do their best to take good care of the children. You are the best thing your kids have!

Yes, absolutely! But that once in a while probably isn't as often as it should be. As most adults I have learned to take life much to seriously (we have responsibilities ya know)! Realizing it is half the battle... but that is the easy half, and I've learned all the "tricks" and "secrets" to living a "totally fulfilled life" but the extremely difficult part is really applying them, letting go, and just enjoying the moment that I'm experencing right NOW... being in the NOW is the key to feeling like a kid because kids don't have to be concerned about the bills and they can just play and enjoy the day... so encourage your children to play for as long as they can... and play with them... you'll feel younger and live longer! Age is a state of mind and this 42 year old grandmother... still feels and looks 25ish (ha ha) just imagine how young I could look if I could let go and allow myself to feel like a kid more often!

I try, I really do... but there are so many of them (and not of kid age at all) in our house that I find myself the more somber. Unfortunate, and watching some of these reminds me that laughter IS the best medicine! Since it looks like I also need to vote though I'm going YES :)

I bought this when it was first released for my 2 1/2 year old. I hooked it up to my old Dell with Windows XP (this is not Mac compatible - and I converted to iMac in Dec). I bought the additional Dora & Diego software, and the Clifford software will be installed on her 3rd birthday in 10 days.
She LOVES this thing! I LOVE THIS THING! It keeps her busy, and she easily mastered all the navigating. The first month we had it, the old Dell had no sound - she still managed to use it and enjoy it in silence. Now, I almost wish I hadn't gotten the sound fixed! HA!
I'll definitely purchase the additional software to keep the variety in the activities.
The only problems I've encountered: sometimes a warning pops up that the keyboard cannot be detected. I just unplug it and plug it back in. Problem fixed. The cards that are the templates for writing are very slick and impossible to stack neatly - get a small basket or something for them.
I've found it quite durable.
The best feature for parents is that it requires a password to exit the program, so if you install this on your main computer, the child cannot get out of the Cool School program and into your computer! Brilliant!

"My daugher is about to turn 2 years old and she loves to "help" in the kitchen. So, we thought that getting her this set would be fun. She loves to wear the apron and feel like she's a real "chef" in the kitchen. And, as a bonus, she typically likes to eat the food she makes with me."
