Funny Animal Pics Make Happy Gifts

So, you open your gift and, "Oh, wow. Clothes. Thank you." Then you get a look at the front of your new shirt and crack up. "Really, thanks! I love it!" Yup. You've been given a humorous t-shirt. Isn't it great how funny t-shirts are so much more interesting than regular clothes? Of course, to give one successfully, you need to know the person you are buying it for. I'd hate to get a shirt with guy humor on it! A cute, funny animal picture, though? Oh, yes.

I've had the chance to take some fun photos of wild animals and I can't think of a better way to share them than on t-shirts, buttons, key chains and other small items people can give as gifts. I'm working on some funny pet photo gifts, too.

Wishing you could take some silly pet photos? Here are my two tips for success. 1. Be patient. You might stand around for a half hour before a critter does something funny, but you'll be glad you were standing there when it does. 2. Get close. If you're photographing something wild, you'll need a zoom lens. The funniest animal on earth isn't going to get any laughs if it is a speck in the photo!

Birds and Other Small Pet Photos Make Great Silly T-shirt Gifts

Cartoon Speech Bubble Animal T-shirts

I'd love to know what some of my pets are thinking when they're looking at me with comical little faces. I'll never know, so I just use my imagination. Cartoon speech bubble animal t-shirts can be a lot of fun for kids to wear, especially when they are personalized just for them. I like to upload a shirt with my favorite saying and a second shirt with an empty bubble. This way, people who crack up at what my little parrotlet or other small critter is saying can choose that shirt. People who say, "Oh, if only she would have that bird saying something a little different, I'd buy that shirt," can do their own thing.

Have your own cute bird picture or hamster picture? To make a speech bubble, you just need to go into your favorite graphics program, make an oval and then draw a little triangle shape at one of the bottom corners. Erase the part of the oval where it connects with the triangle shape and you've got a cartoon speech bubble. Thought bubbles are a bit harder to make, but you can do one of them, too. Just use the circle tool and your eraser tool to create a great thought bubble.

Funny Wildlife Gifts

Wildlife T shirts, Buttons and More!

Squirrels totally have a sense of humor and people take some very funny pictures of these personable little critters. Even grumpy wild animals can give us some silly animal pictures to enjoy. I like to turn my favorites into wildlife t-shirts or buttons so other people can enjoy the spunk and silliness I captured with a lucky shot. While I wasn't fortunate enough to catch that shot of the famous grumpy bluebird, I did have some fun with a greedy blue jay.

To take wild animal photos for your Zazzle shop, you do need a few things you don't need for shots of pets or most zoo animals. You need:
* A serious zoom lens.
* A portable tripod (Optional, but it can really come in handy.
* A good mosquito and tick repellent. I wasted three years on Lyme disease and I know I am a bit paranoid about using a good repellent and wearing the right gear, but trust me when I say you do not want to learn how it feels to have Lyme from experience!

Having trouble finding animals doing something silly? You can use a humorous saying to help make a cute photo funny. For example, I used my ducks in a row saying with this photo of a duck family all lined up to inject some humor.
