I love dogs, and Halloween is the perfect excuse to make them even more cute by dressing them up!
There are lots of choices for dog costumes, so I've collected the best and funniest costumes I have seen, including ideas for making your own and places to buy pet costumes online. There is everything from punk costumes to pirates and Darth Vader!
Remember to try the outfit out on your dog a while before it's needed to make sure the dog is OK with wearing a costume, and also to allow he/she to get used to it.

- The skunk was great. Our dogs are ready for their Halloween party this year at Petsmart. See their fancy head pieces in my lens http://www.squidoo.com/doggie-halloween-tiara-show. For the humans the haunted thrills I like are walking through creepy woods on Hallows Eve. My lens http://www.squidoo.com/creepy-hayrides-in-virginia lists the ones nearby. Happy Spooking!
