Funny Home Exercise Equipment

Not All Exercise Is Created Equal

I have to give it to the creators of these silly home exercise machines and equipment. They surely stepped outside of the box to try and give you something that had a "OOO and AHHH" affect when it came to getting in shape. Too bad that's not the case and instead we just get a good chuckle out of it.

I am not saying all of these pieces of fitness gear are completely worthless but as far as a realistic way to get results... well that's where it stops.

The Treadmill Bike

For Those Days You Can't Decide Between Biking Or Running

This is hilarious... it really is just what it sounds like... a treadmill with two bike tires. If you want to workout but you can't decide between your bike and your treadmill then go with this. What I like the most that since you are having to take the treadmill bike outside isn't it the same as just going for a jog?

And that's why this thing is so ridiculous. For women's fitness and cardio training you would be saved a lot of money to just lace up your running shoes and hit the road. It's proven that between running on the ground and running on a treadmill, the real thing is better for you. It targets more stabilizer muscles because of the uneven paths that lay ahead.

Of course the picture is here, but it doesn't i've it full justice which is why the video for it is below.

The Hawaiian Chair

I Am Short On Words

Not much can get met speechless but the Hawaiian Chair succeeds. This vibrating chair swears to burn fat while you comfortably sit doing your work at your office. I am pretty sure if I am sitting on a shaking chair my work will be worthless. Not only will your butt shake but so will the rest of your body.

How is anyone suppose to write legibly when they are shaking like crazy? Just watch and make up your own opinion.

But as far as results are concerned... you're better off investing in a $10 stability ball to sit on at your desk.

Red Fitness XL System

They claim you can lose up to 4 inches around your waist by doing this rotation exercise but the truth of the matter is you will just end up losing money.

First off you can't spot reduce fat, your body choices where it wants to lose fat and when, not you. Most people will lose a bit from all over but never just in the stomach or just the arms... you get the idea. Secondly, this piece of equipment isn't intense enough to get your heart rate up faster than sitting in a chair kicking your legs. The idea that it is going to be fat blasting and toning is pretty insane of a call. And my third opinion... who wants to sit on this thing just rotating around for 30 minutes? Talk about a boring workout! This would be it.

So overall... not a winner again.
