What the heck is a Honey Badger?

Technically the Honey Badger (Mellivora capensis) is a ferocious, carnivorous mustelid which is native to Africa, the Middle East and the Indian Subcontinent. Apparently National Geographic labelled the now famous Honey Badger as being the animal least likely to care, or so the story goes. If you are like me, you probably had no idea what a honey badger was until Randall's narration went viral on youtube in May of 2011 and hordes of people jumped on the marketing bandwagon and started pumping out the T-shirts.
