Besides coloring pages, there's a Sarah Palin maze ("Help Sarah find her way to the White House" -- it's impossible!), a cut-out Sarah Palin paper doll with clothes, including a wolf pelt skirt, and more.

Being a liberal Democrat, I got a kick out of this! It was VERY interesting reading the Amazon.com customer reviews of this coloring book. At the time that I browsed through them, ratings were either "5" or "1". I'm guessing that the "5"s are from liberals, and the "1"s are not..... (they did not think this coloring book was funny!).

The first time I heard this phrase, "Butter my butt and call me a biscuit" was just this past year when I was reading one of the Mace Bauer Mysteries Mama Sees Stars by Deborah Sharp. The "Mama" in this series of quirky, enjoyable mysteries is Mace's mother - a "proper" Floridian, and prone to a number of old-time country sayings.

Johnny Carson 2012 Desk Calendar

I grew up watching the Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson -- it was on too late for me to watch regularly on weeknights during the school season, but it was a treat to watch on the weekends, especially if I was babysitting.

I loved his opening monologues, his interviews with famous and/or interesting and unusual people, and I enjoyed his skits, including the often hilarious Carnac the Magnificent (eastern seer and sage). His announcer, Ed McMahon, made a great straight guy.

A terrific selection! This is first I've heard of the Carson calendars. What a great show that was. He was one of the Irreplaceables.
