Harmless Pranks Can Be Funny, As Long As Injury Risk is Relatively Low!
Ok, I'll admit it, I laughed at this funny prank video. What about you? The harmless prank presented here is hilarious, but not to everyone. Some people I know think pranks are mean spirited, embarrassing and lower self esteem. They see it as a harmful prank, especially as there is a small risk of minor injury. So, what is it about the humiliation of these "funny pranks" that make the rest of us laugh? Take a look at this funny prank video, then tell me if you agree with me that it is funny.

Remember, they say that laughter is the best medicine, so I say go ahead and laugh.

Even if it was a fake one, it made me smile. Although, I do not agree that no physical harm was involved in this one. Ask the man's nose!
Pranks are a good reminder that sometimes we are silly, just like everyone else - they help diminish ego.

What the hell says:

I think that harmless jokes are funny like the kind of jokes you would find on afv but this one was jut mean. I admit it was funny before we all realized the poor man was hurt but I'm pretty sure it wasn't funny for him at all. If you think its funny go run into a door yourself.

Well, DID laugh, but it was mean-spirited, so what does that say? Pranks are funny if no one is hurt, and no one too badly embarrassed for too long. Sometimes we can't know the difference until the prank is pulled though!

So long as the action won't show your sensitive parts in public! I once saw a Japanese prank movie on public toilet, it's so embarrassing and disgusting that common, innocent people become panicked when the toilet door suddenly opnes right after they have opened their trousers!

I do laugh like crazy when people stump their toes or fall down and such; it's just the manipulation factor in pranks that bothers me and makes me feel uncomfortable. And laughing when someone trips or falls off a bike, well, some people think that's mean, but I can't help it. It just turns over my tickle box. Even my own shenanigans. Just recently, I fell backwards off the boat fully clothed, including hat and sunshades. I was laughing before I hit the water thinking about how my arms were flapping as if they could do anything about it. :D

Interesting topic for a lens! To me, harmless pranks and mean pranks are too different things - if it's mean, it's not harmless. I think harmless pranks are funny and everyone should be able to laugh at themselves once in a while!
